     The sixth wave of planetary colonisation suffers badly with great numbers trying to make the jump past lightspeed.
Mass space travel leads to the deaths of thousands in suspended animation as navigators struggle with a cyber-storm in the fifth dimension. As all passsengers must be unconscious when travelling in the fifth dimension, unplanned wakings by the passengers create lethal interuptions for the cyborg navigator.

2419 - 2444 A.D.
     Faster than light travel is banned outright, except for solo flights, due to mass loss of life.
With dozens of life-giving worlds waiting to be colonised, only cyborgs travelling solo can visit them. Only cyborgs can navigate hyperspace, as scientists on planet Sulbrachias and planet Eista, try to find techniques for keeping the crew asleep for the decades-long flight through the exterior dimensions.

     Finally, with the problem of consciousness understood, humanity can once more fullfill its destiny in the stars.
Thousands of space vessels, filled with millions of space colonizers have opened their wings and hearts, as the Orion sector is inundated with Human adventurers from all the home worlds.

     Zimbabwean Dollar
The Zimbabwean Dollar is now measured in mathematical terms so high that they have never before been needed in any form of numerical analysis.
This new type of mathematics, called: Zimbabweconomicalisarianescalitationism, has intrigued visitors fram afar afield as the Deneb system, over one and a half thousand light years away. Chaos theorists believe that the mathematicians required to measure the Zimbabwean dollar now take up the volume of six medium sized planets.

2470 A.D.
     Qusix genetic engineers have created a human hybrid on the planet Xooyz.
In the face of religious outrage, human genes have been used in combination with that of aliens on the planet Xooyz. The new humanoid, known as 'Xoy' is highly adaptable to heavy gravity. The Qusix Esteemed One, after whom the planet is named, has been declared an abomination on Planet Kristos Marx by the Holy Inquisition Master, Vladimir Magog II.
